This private residence had 7960 square feet of radiant floor heating, and 750 square feet of snowmelting. The picture above shows the rough in with a 5/8" PEX pipe at 12" pipe spacing. Also shown beneath the pipe is ground insulation essential to reduce back losses into the ground and allow the slab to heat up quicker.
